Bookings

Arrivals
Normal check-in times are between 3:30-10pm, however, we do accept check-ins at other times by prior arrangement. You may be interested in our Early-check-in-service.

Booking and checking availability
To book a room at the guest house, check availability or enquire about current special offers, please call Louise on 01743 359275 or visit our online booking system.

Early check-in service
Should you prefer to arrive prior to midday, you may collect your room keys and leave your luggage, then the day is yours to explore the many delights of Shrewsbury. Please note that rooms may not be fully serviced prior to our normal check-in time which is 3:30pm, although, typically they are ready by midday.

Do you offer late check-outs?
Yes, for an extra £20 our late check out option allows you to keep your room till 2:30pm on the day of departure, please ask for details.

Payment
Credit / debit card details are requested for all bookings made with us.

For non-internet bookings, we reserve the right to pre-authorize and or charge your card with an amount equal to 25% of the total cost of your stay at the time of booking.

For online bookings a deposit equal to the cost of your first night's accommodation will normally be charged to your card. However, where payments are processed on our behalf by third party agents, full payment may in some cases be taken at the time of booking.

The balance of your stay will be due on departure. Guests may settle their bill by cash, or with a valid credit or debit card.

We do NOT levy a charge for guests paying by card, however, we do incur a charge so naturally cash is our preferred method of payment.

Departures
In response to customer feedback, and to enhance your stay, we have recently extended the check-out time by 30 minutes. Guests are now requested to vacate their room by 10:30am on the day of departure. Later check-outs are available, please see our late check-out option for more details.

Are children accepted at the B&B?
Yes. A travel cot and high chair are available for our younger guests, however, parents are requested to bring their own bedding to help babies settle. There is also a microwave in the breakfast room, available for use at any time.

Do you accept pets?
No. Sorry we do not accept pets.

Help with luggage
Assistance with luggage is always available at arrival and departure - please do ask.

Cancellations and Booking alterations
Every now and then we understand that plans do not flow accordingly, so should you need to alter or cancel your booking for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible on 01743 359275.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your booking more than 2 weeks before your scheduled check-in time, we will refund any deposit paid.

If you cancel your booking within 2 weeks of your scheduled check-in time, and we are able to re-let the room(s), we will refund any deposit paid. If we are not able to re-let the room(s), you will be charged for the rooms we were unable to re-let.

If you do not inform us of your intention to cancel, we will be unable to re-let the room(s) and as a result, you will be charged with the full cost of the booking.

It is recommended, for your protection, you take out holiday insurance
