Taxis from the station
If you are travelling from Shrewsbury train station there are usually plenty of taxis at the station taxi rank, however, we recommend Central cars on 01743 441144 who will deliver you safely to us at the B&B for a very reasonable £3.50 or so.
Walking from the station
If you would prefer to make your way to the B&B on foot, here are some directions, which take you a much shorter route than going through the town centre:
When you exit the railway station, on the left, behind some telephone boxes, you will see a walkway rising up to Shrewsbury Castle. Walk to the top of the walkway, then bear left over the railway track, and through a covered pedestrian walkway. This will bring you out opposite the Dana prison. Turn right onto Victoria St, following the road to the end. On your right you will find a footbridge across the river. Cross over the bridge and follow the footpath next to the playing fields. Keep going straight on across Underdale Road into Tankerville Street. Turn right at the end of Tankerville Street onto Monkmoor Road. The next left is Canon St, the B&B is on the corner.
